Seems like it can't hurt, so I think I'll try adding +LIFE to one plant and see if there's any noticeable difference!

Just did a little bit of reading and it seems most people don't use microbial innoculents for passive or active hydro, but some do. I guess it can't hurt to add a small amount of +LIFE and see how it goes. Will let everyone know if I do go that route!

Seems as though most people aren't using anything other than water and nutrients, for the most part. Might just try the same and see how it goes.

Never heard of Tribus so I Googled it...do you use it just for hempy bucket seedlings or for mature plants as well?

I use tap water, but I have a set of water filters (including charcoal) that filters the drinking water in my house. I believe they remove chlorine and chloramine.

Ever tried a lux meter app? I know there are plenty out there for Android but never tried one. Just curious if you anyone else has tried one out because I should be measuring my light strength as well.

Sometimes the manufacturers will just ignore you, but the better ones will take the time to reply! For me it's all trial-and-error. I start with them at two feet away and then just slowly dial up the light intensity. Gave some plants a bit of light burn once but nothing they couldn't recover...

Don't know if this helps, but I've been told the best thing to do is ask the manufacturer.I know that's not always possible, though. I have 2 x 240 watt leds and keep them about 2' away from seedlings and at roughly 120 watts each light. My lights run quite hot so I err on the side of caution.
