Like 1.7 ec for veg and like 2.5 for flower... I then mix with clean ro water to dilute until desired ec is reached... how else would you do it without concentrate? Are you mixing nutes for desired ec? If so how would you do that for super low ec lvls like .4 for seedlings?

I usually like to trim any major fan leaves covering colas. Want them to get as much light as possible the farther into flower you get. Then obviously you want the bottom trimmed nicely for addiquete air flow.

I have rust chasing my grow. Its only on lower leaves and gets worse as you go down the plant. Curious if its a magnesium deficiency. Feed is ro water mixed with .45 ec at 5.8-6.0 ph with cal/mag... I thinknl maybe I'm not adding enough cal mag because when I make my feed I make concentrates...

Well cal,mag goes in after all other nutes but afterward ec is 1.7 which I water down to 1.3 for feed

Also giving a bit over 2ml a gallon of cal/mag in ro water

This is my girl scout cookies. She is in pre flower and giving her 1.3 ec of nutes at around 5.8 ph. I am seeing a few leaves with slight rust spots on them. Most leaves look fine. Just raised ph to 6.1 to uptake more cal/mag Another wierd issue is some of my leaves looked burnt but only on one...

Amen to that dude. I have grown several cycles in coco now and still learning but love it. So far the babysitting required is just more inconvenient because the roots are in the way. Where as coco I can manage ec and ph at each feed. Who knows tho maybe I'll fall in love with it. Still haven't...

Very nice is that a double halo water ring you got or 1? I tried to use 1 but the holes didn't hit the entire surface so had to seal up some holes and drill new ones to saturate the entire plant. Couldn't find doubles tho.

Ahh gotcha that makes since. So sounds like the biggest pro is not having to deal with mediums... I treat big patches of coco for cal/mag deficiency and then heat it to kill all pests so I think I'll stick with this thanks.

Just curious on everyone's opinion about growing in coco versus growing directly is water. I am currently doing both and so far its seems like more of a hassle dealing with direct water. Coco I can manage my feed in smaller amounts wheres water its the entire bucket and if you change water...
