I have 3 plants all started within a few weeks of each other about 4 months old and was wondering what the opinions about when to harvest are?

I am close to harvest I think and one of my plants snapped at the top half and in attempting to brace it, it flexed a few times. I Need some opinions from some experienced growers. Should I cut that part of and start drying it, or leave it braced and see what happens?
