I personally think they are getting a bit too much nitrogen or the lights are a little too close to the plants.. The outer edges of the leaves are curling up, which can be a sign of too much heat or too much nitrogen or a little of both in younger plants. The over all temperature of the room...

Plants alternate between releasing oxygen and taking in CO2. That's pretty much what this is. IMO. The plant is performing it's natural function as normal.

Have seen people get 10lb out of Northern Lights and Skunk strains from proper trimming.

PH will climb back up as nutrients are depleted. There are all sorts of things that can make it go up. If you're using airstones, for example. If you're using distilled water, as I said in an earlier posting, there is nothing for the PH adjuster to "bind" to, so the PH will slowly climb back...
