    Fish hooks

You may very well be right. I’ve never grown before. They’re in week 8 of flower and most of the trichomes are milky and some turning amber. This has all been a learning experience for me.

Newbie help with yellowing leaves please

I’m on my first grow and it’s bakerstreet. I’m not experienced so I don’t have any input for the yellowing you’re getting, but I’ll share a pic of mine around the same point of the grow. I will say don’t stress about some weird stuff you may see, like odd shaped leaves and random bits of yellow...

Hindu Kush Buds taking forever because Nitrogen?

I hope it works out for you. I’m a few weeks behind you with the same strain.

Plant leafs clawing w/ yellow tips

I’m on my first ever grow and I just flipped my bakerstreet to 12/12 a couple days ago. Out of the 4 plants, 3 have grown well and one is a total runt. How long have you had yours in flower for? Tweed keeps it flowering time secret, claiming proprietary information. Could you post a recent pic...

    Is this Bakerstreet from Tweed?

    Fish hooks

Thanks JD. Recirculating top drip, and they are drinking about a gallon per day right now. Looking a lot better since original post and growing like crazy.

The girls seem like they’re loving life these days. Back to half strength nutes for the past few days. Thank you to all who threw in their two cents.

So, it’s only been a few days since reverting back to 1/4 strength nutes and the under-curl issue is improving. I’m including a pic of a new discolouration happening on a single leaf tip, on a plant that otherwise seems to be the healthiest of the lot. I’d like to hear opinions on if it is...

    Fish hooks

Great, thanks for the input. Yes, I’m using 3 part micro grow bloom flora series plus 1tsp/gallon calmag. How would I know when the root mass is built up? I can only see a little bit of the roots where they are poking out of the drainage slits in the grow slab.

    Fish hooks

Good to know. They still seem to be growing fast so I’m taking that as a good sign. One of the plants has seems to have two pairs of growth tips at each node. Is that weird?

to be clear, this issue began before switch from half to full strength nutes

    Fish hooks

No soil , they’re in Rockwool slabs. The consensus has been nitrogen so I dropped the nutes down to 1/4 strength. Does Nitrogen toxicity become plant death?

    Fish hooks

I changed the nutes out to 1/4 strength a few hours before their bedtime last night. Hopefully in a couple of days they will start looking better, but as of today they don’t look worse. Do leafs recover and uncurl or should I only expect to see new growth looking better?

    Fish hooks

I’ve been keeping the ph between 5.5 and 5.8. You may very well be correct being on an incorrect feed program. These are the first of any type of plant I’ve ever grown so I’m a total rookie and wasn’t positive about when to start nutes or when to increase them. They are all a couple days shy of...

    Fish hooks

Ok great thanks for the advice. I forgot to mention my setup is recirculating, I don’t know if that makes a difference in addressing the nitrogen issue

That’s what I had thought too. It started while they were still on half strength nutes with no cal/mag, and it was recommended to me by the hydro store (who I at least know grows good stuff), and he suggested increasing the nutes and adding cal/mag. I was leaning towards deficiency simply...
