ah, I don't have an exhaust (or even door on the closet they're in) but I put a small fan blowing down on the heatsink and it's barely warmer than my body now. I cranked it up to 300W and my plants started bleaching 30cm below the QBs, 250 seems ok.

Thanks, I'll get some of those (probably get delivered in a month or so as I'm remote).. The thing is according to the website they should work in series too although they recommend a less powerful PSU (hlg240)... hopefully parallel will solve it.
