Wow ya I think you should stay with what you got ha! 6 in is prob too small, good thing I don't have close neighbors :p but I've only ever ran 6 in and never had issues, but I kept humidity at like 40-50. Right now it's 70.

I think my problem is humidity. Stopped running dehumidifier a couple weeks ago in basement and didn't connect two and two together. Carbon filters won't work in high humidity right? Gotta be below 60 I believe

Thanks much! Any problems venting humid air into bedrooms? I was thinking filter > fan > hood > ducting to vent so Id be filtering the hot humid air and blowing it into the above bedroom. If bedroom gets too hot or humid i can just open a window for a bit ya?
