Thank you to all that responded. I wanted to update how things have been going and what I believe was the issue. I noticed that once my seeds popped and a planted them in a small container they seemed to have done well until I replanted them into my larger / final buckets in the ebb and flow...

I do have a meter but it doesnt measure PAR. It measures in a different way. I will have to get that unpacked. You reminded me I had it :)

I have that issue with squirrels and raccoons. I had a beautiful pineapple I had been nurturing for years. When it was ready I called my father and had him come over to pick it with me. Next morning it was gone !

I believe the light is part of the issue as well. I just didn’t think I did anything different over the years and now I’m getting poor results. I moved a few years back and have a much larger grow room. I believe that’s when it started. Perhaps my temps and humidity would be easier controlled in...

I’ve tried numerous methods but typically I start seeds in a paper towel and transplant them into coco but when I was having issues i started the in seed soil them transplanted to coco in an ebb and flow system. I have heard that some people don’t like switching from soil to coco but it always...

Wait. I spoke too soon. I do remember there was a strain. I wanted from my original seed bank that I purchased and that was a dud too so basically, it’s all me.

Now that you mentioned it. I did switch seed banks. But I just can’t imagine that many seeds being bad. I’m going to look back and see when this started but I do believe is when I switched seed banks.

Someone else mentioned fluorescence and I believe I’m going to give that a shot, but I believe the thing that frustrates me is that I’ve been able to do these in the past with basically the same set up. The only difference I have now is I have a larger room and previously the smaller room was...

I definitely don’t keep them too wet because I’ve had them rot in the past. As far as your other questions I’d like to be able to answer that, but unfortunately, I don’t even get to that point to replanning this stage in the game. Lol. I literally cannot get these seedlings over 3 inches tall. I...

That is the only light I haven’t tried. I’m glad you mentioned that because I believe I’m going to give that a shot.

I believe my issue is like distance. I’ve used small lights very close and still had stretching and also had my large light 2 feet away and get the same outcome. I think I just need to dial in

I appreciate it. 5 feet away? That’s where I get confused because a week like 5 feet away is different from a strong Light 5 feet away.

I get ya. But I think my issue is after the popping. Light distance , etc

The great paper towel debate lol. I typically pop them within a day or so of receiving . After looking through some posts it looks like have a small area would be more controlled. Currently I have to fill a humidifier every few hours and I admit I’m not great at doing that but I do t think it’s...

At my wits end popping seeds

Greetings and Happy New Year everyone ! I never thought I’d be posting this but I lost my knack for popping / germinating seeds. I’ve been growing for over ten years and my seed popping has been on a steady decline for that entire time. I’ve tried numerous different ways and seem ton have issues...

    Stunted in soil

And you are correct I initially watered them like Coco

    Stunted in soil

That’s interesting. I knew you didn’t have to water Soil as much but this is kind of ridiculous lol. I think I’m going to write it out and see how they do and I will provide an update in a few weeks for anyone that is interested.
