With seedlings, get yourself a spray bottle bud. Spray AROUND the base of her, in a circle. (NOT directly where her stem meets soil., AROUND) You won't be worrying about drowning or underwatering her... And spraying around her will get her roots to grow out, searching for water. Which in turn...

Nah the stem is just from light "sunburn". Them parts of the plants have always seen the light while the upper half has been bent over most its life. This girls stem is like rubber. And as soon as i start wiggling her back and forth, so stick and stinky on my fingers. Ohyeah. yes, I am waiting...
