    Flood and drain reservoir maintenance?

Just to clear up the air, i would rather use GH ph down as phosphoric acid is also food for the plants vs using sulfuric acid, I only posted this info incase someone else is having issues keeping their nutrient tanks clean of bacteria.

    Flood and drain reservoir maintenance?

So im back after many experiments and would like to share my findings with you guys. I realized after many may hours of reading that the issue was with my ph down, yes ph down lol. I was using general hydroponics ph down which contains phosphoric acid and this happens to be food for bacteria...

Wow you think air flow or rh could make a difference like that? That's crazy, I would of never thought of that. Thanks

    A puzzeling question

Excellent idea, I have not checked for blockages. I will do that today as soon as lights come on. Each meter is kind of attached to it's system so I can take it off but it would be a pain to be honest

    A puzzeling question

Bluelab is not able to be calibrated but I can calibrate the hmdigital. I just find it hard to believe that system 2 is eating so little with having more plants vs system 1.

    A puzzeling question

hey all, I have a situation which i cannot figure out so i am here to maybe get some answers. I have an RDWC system ( 2 of them ) 4 lights each. System one has 20 plants under 4 lights and System two has 24 plants under 4 lights. Now Yesterday i did a water change and my ppm was 1000 for system...

    Slow growth and leaf curl

did your light come with a ppfd map? like how much light it puts out at given distances? im asking because 200watts might not sound much but if you get it too close it could be more then a plant can handle, normally in veg state u want to be 200 to 300umols/m2 , now if you dont have an expensive...

    Flood and drain reservoir maintenance?

oh ya i 100% cover it but im saying some light might be leaking through from the holes i made for the pipes. as in its not 100% leak proof.

    Flood and drain reservoir maintenance?

check this out . im copy pasting Cyanobacteria found living 600 meters underground without sunlight. A team of researchers from Spain, Germany and the U.S. has found a type of cyanobacteria that is capable of living more than 600 meters underground—in the absence of sunlight. Cyanobacteria...

    Flood and drain reservoir maintenance?

GH micro+grow+bloom+calmag i know airstones or water with hi DO levels prevents algae from growing but my issue is not the algae but the dam cyanobacteria, this nasty bacteria grows almost anywhere and in any condition. Even adding h2o2 does not kill it rather boosts it, its weird. only thing...

    Flood and drain reservoir maintenance?

@Gemtree I tried that as well , it was working ok but i was worried about what else might be in the bottle of bleach so now going to test it with shock. @BobThe420Builder I used to have air stones in there but took them out as cyanobacteria feeds off that and does not care about light, meaning...

    Slow growth and leaf curl

could be light stress, u mentioned how high your light is from the plant but not how strong your light is. usually curling is a stress towards heat (im not an expert) but this is easy to test. either dim down your light or take it up higher. and flooding 4 times a day is perfect in my opinion (...
