yeah i got something to add... theres another thing that works really well... it burns some kind of oil. I saw it on youtube on a 4 part informational on how to grow indoors. it was amazing and the plants were massive!

lol... dont use incandesents. Compact fluorescent lights can be found at any hardware store. At the very least go find a 40 watt cfl and a fixture for it. You could probably do that for like $25 - $35.

Ok so I'm new here... and I just started trying to grow a couple plants in my closet. I'm using a 40 watt shoplite that takes fluorescent bulbs. Will this work? Also, how long does it take them to sprout? I started them 2 days ago and I dont see anything yet.

The electric bill doesnt matter if you use CFLs... they barely use any energy.
