I believe so, I only use rain water. In the area I live our rain is 5.6 after I mix ferts I adjust to 6.0 to 6.3 seems to work fine.

I'm working on my first grow, but what I have found is that if I mix ferts as to the directions it's to hot, I cut down to half of what they say is needed. Just my observation.

BTW you may want to either buy or make some cal mag and give them some.

What are the little white specks on the leafs, looks like it may be spider mites, also what nutes, grow medium, water pH, a little background information would be helpful in order to try to help you. Check out this link it's full of just about any problems you may run into. Hope it helps...

Need more light. When you are in the seedling stage you don't need a lot of light, but where that are now you need light. If you live in a area that is warm out during the day take them outside and pray you don't end up with a insect infestation. But you definitely need light.

Almost forgot I'm using rain water also.

41 days from seed today, Miracle Grow moisture control with extra perlite added and Miracle Grow tomato ferts is all I have used for this grow, other than I hit them with homemade cal mag once so far. I think they look pretty nice for my first grow.

I had a few knats earlier but a 50/50 mix of alcohol and water took care of that in a hurry.

These 4 are in 3 gallon cloth grow bags. But yeah I'm trying to keep it simple for now. I'm just trying to learn what the plants like and how they grow. We all have to start at the bottom to get to the top. And the reason for the mg with extra perlite, it was FREE.

Low stress training is what I'm doing with this grow.

BTW. Miracle grow moisture control with extra perlite mixed in and miracle grow tomato fert is what I'm using. I don't care what people say it works just fine in my opinion, but as time goes on I may change to a different soil. But for now it's working.

I think that's on every forum but thanks for the heads up. I'm just now 40 days from seed into my first grow (bag seeds) sex unknown but the smoke was really good. I had a little cal mag deficiency early on but I got that all taken care of. Other than that all is going well so far.
