.... i do not have 1 CFM running in my 4x2x6 closet.... no problems so far and they are 3 ft tall... light literally still stays 1 inch or less from em... T5 6 bulb... i dunno =/
you can and should add the t5's down the side of the wall, too much light is only too much if the room temps go up and/or the plants start touch the lights.... only way they can burn. especially with t5's u can get pretty much 1/4 inch away without burning
ok thats what i needed to know. whether or not i could mix the coir with the soil... guess ill have to finish this grow off with soil.. gotta buy a couple more bags of FFoF :(
diem i understand coir is just a medium.. i know it is different than soil, no nutes in it, etc. any help here? i would love to switch and i still have til this weekend to put em into flower, transplanting right before they head in their new room
thank you sir robert. i got the lights goin up in the flower room by this weekend and should have all the plants moved into there by then.... i tied them down for now since the light is 4 ft high and the plants are/have been touching the light for the past week+ so.... we'll see what happens...
so today is day 49 of my plant in flower... my plant before that took 77 days to finish and still wasnt even a lot of amber trichs.. well now its day 49 on my bitch and i took a scope to her today... literally i do not see any clear trichs... all cloudy with a 10-20% amber rate... im thinkin...
1ft per gallon? bullshit... i got 3 and a half footers now in 1 gallon pots, not flowering yet....when i put em in 3, im sure they'll go to 5-7 easily...
ok... so i have some plants that have outgrown my veg room so im movin them to the flower room, well... they need to be transplanted NO DOUBT... they are in soil right now and im afraid if i transplant into new soil i wont be able to feed them correctly during flower with the nutes from the new...
can i switch from soil to coco coir from veg to flower? but just pack the coco around the soil in its new pot? or would i need to get away from the soil, especially if ill be changing nutes from FF to Advanced Nutrients
i have a question... for u doc... what do i do if i need to transplant my plants before putting them into flower, but they need to go into flower now because of height issues... but they're in soil... i dont want to wait 3-4 weeks for the nutes in the soil to wear out to start feeding them...
