DiY LEDs - How to Power Them

Thanks a lot guys ! I think i'll be going with the HLG-240H-C1050B than. It has a little more power than needed and i don't need the dim to off function. I rather go for the longer warranty/working hours.

DiY LEDs - How to Power Them

Ok thanks for the help Rocket Soul :) I read in the datasheet of the meanwell, Inrush current: 75A. Maybe this is the maximum current for the leds to draw when they start up ? If so it would be correct i don't need a larger driver and the statement on the website wouldn't apply to this driver...

DiY LEDs - How to Power Them

I'm running on 240VAC, so the ELG would be 240w , but what's the difference other than the price ? Specs seem about the same or am i missing something ? I read it on conrad.nl a dutch electronics website. it states this as a warning on every page with a led driver: google translation...

DiY LEDs - How to Power Them

Thanks a lot for the help Barristan! I read on a website the driver capacity should be 1/3 higher than the actual use because of the start up peak power. Is this not true ? I'm a little confused. And does the driver regulate the voltage automatically to get the optimum voltage for the leds ?

Thanks for the quick reply ! So ELG-240-C1050B would be better ? , i read somewhere you need 1/3 more driver capacity than actually used because of the peak power when turning them on ?

DiY LEDs - How to Power Them

Hi everybody ! I'm building a setup with 4 times Cxm22 gen4 at 3500k ,50v, 52.8 watt, 1,050mA Can i drive these 4 led cobs in series with an HLG-320H-C1050B ? Will the voltage auto adjust to the need of the leds ? If anyone can verify this would be a right choice please let me know. Thanks in...
