Is it feasible to train your main stem under the dirt of another pot to get it to root? I imagine it wouldn't be too hard with rooting hormone, and wittling down the stem a bit or cracking it or something. Two root systems would have several advantages. Has anyone ever tried this?

Why not try growing in your mailbox? or a shoe box? I HOPE this is a joke. You will not be able to grow in such a small space. You need to bare in mind you need space for your rooting medium too. a 100 watt cfl itself will fill that whole space.
