I just did another flush. My water was 6.6 ph before flushing and 100ppms. I tested the run off and found my ppms were much higher than my soil slurry earlier today and also the ph seemed lower than my soil slurry.
I tested my water again today and it was showing 7.9-8ph. The water has been around 340ppm. I was using RO water this whole time but recently switched to tap water after all the issues began just in case.
FYI the 5.5 I mentioned was after I mixed all my nutes together and before using ph up...
I was testing my tap and ro water but both seem to hover around 7-7.5 ph. I don't have any ph down or anything like that. But herc harvest bone meal, part of my nutrient line, lowers ph so I usually use that when doing flushes and when doing feeds, the ph usually is around 5.5 and I use a little...
How long does it take for new leaves to stop being affected and for it to turn around? A friend said about a week grace period. I was going to do a soil slurry shortly and see if the ph is too low or high.
Maybe I have an excess of one nutrient and and defiency of another? Light green leaves with necrotic spots, twisted and malformed leaves is a copper deficiency. Maybe I have that?
I've been flushing. Leaves continue to turn, and new ones as well. This is what some leaves are progressing to. If it makes it more distinct as a certain issue, not sure.
Nute burn?
Look like some type of nutrient lockout / toxicity issue? After my last flush, today's feeding went much better and the water did not sit up top forever. Here's hoping to a turnaround
I'm starting to think it's toxicity build up or some kind of nutrient lockout. Along with a thrip issue. But I'm hoping I can turn it around if that is it. The leaves are curling up and looking worse, however, the buds appear to be getting better and less brown. I'm attaching a pic of a small...
Hmm never sprayed recently. Well, I did in the first week but one application. I thought maybe the thrips got to the buds. But I do have thrips and thrip damage. Just didn't see the telltale signs like you said, on my other leaves which confused me if I had more than one thing going on. But...
Sounds like I may have to do that. It'll be a pain to get to the back tho. Not much room in a 3x3. I hope I don't have root rot. I am using those cloth bags so hopefully that cuts down on the risk. Yeah I am waiting until it gets fairly dry and light. Today I did not though, I did a flush...
I initially used organicide. Being a first time grower, I didn't know the importance of preventative maintenance for that, plus I had gotten the plant from a friend with an invested grow that I realized later on. I also treated once with neem and then again with organicide. My plant also went...
Yeah definitely thrips I've found many and I've treated a few times. I still find some even on my top leaves here and there and try to pull them off when I can. I was worried those black spots are fungus but glad to hear it may not be. It does seem to be spreading tho. More and more leaves are...
