If you can't raise the light, you either need to supercrop it or monstercrop it. In my case, it was like yours so I had to supercrop a bit more extreme.
Got their Wedding Cake, Papaya, Gushers, and a Brr Berry og from their cultivar. Can't say much about the seeds, but the Papaya and Gushers are taking off beautifully. Most excited about the Papaya too. Everyone else is doing their job in veg.
Lets see. You accounted for the space of the light. 16 inch tall plants with a buffer left for stretch which will double the height and you have that space with 12 inches between the top of the canopy to spare. Its seems most likely optimal. Great job.

Rule of thumb is no more than 25% leaf removal if defoliating. No later than week 3 of flowering. Another rule, no need to really defo when growing outdoor.
