I had my tomatoes and peppers in my 18-6 until I got my flower room set up. They did ok but It seemed like too much light. Now they are in the 12-12 and are doing great...It is only a 400 watt SV but I have the toms and peppers on the floor, herb on a bench. I want to try some other stuff.:-o

Hey "Mr. G"...so I just found an entry of yours in a light cycle thread so I thought I would ask for yer' opinion. I have several plants in various veg states but the cycle is 21/3 (I'm not sure why I chose this) and I would like to goto 18/6...if I dial it back 30minn or an hour a day do you...

I see alot on types of light but what about the cycle itself?? Just wonderin' what cycle the pro's use....it seems to me the plant needs some "nightime" Also when going to 12-12 is it best to slowly dial it back like nature or just flip it??:peace:

I think yer overwatern a bit...at this stage I use a cc dropper (same one I use to measure nutes) just around the stem. little plants use little water

Alright oldtimers I am starting to flip some of my plants and EVERY one has been male 5 for 5 so far. My question is: are there any factors that can influence sex?? Temp, humidity, "nightime" temps, nutes, root spinning.... Any ideas?? or did I get "maleized" seeds:lol:

Yea, I have the same problem". And I am thankful since I am in an apartment!! I have noticed when I re-pot and slit the root ball it smells like I killed a skunk in the basement!! MMmmmmm
