Would it be better to mount the exhaust fan inside the tent? or outside?

or is there a way I could loop the exhaust back into the tent? Or does this have to be a fan taking air out, a fan bringing air in, and fans near the canopy?

If I'm using an exhaust fan and ducting to funnel the air out of the room the tent is in the tent flaps can be opened and the intake fan is less of a requirement right?
