Pruning didn’t work, did too many pairs the same day I think. Will try again. For now I’m just pinching out new nodes that won’t see the light above.

Two weeks later, progressing nicely. Just switched from T5 to LED/COB. Nutes PPM keeps dropping so I guess I’m not adding enough??

The low altitude lights and pruning seem to be working. The nodes are so close I need my contacts to tell them apart.

With an inter-nodal height of 1/8”, it looks like it may be working. The goal is to create a bushy plant with less height. Bucket, lights and separation may consume 3 of my 4’ tent height later on..

My nodes are close enough the leaves removed may have blocked light from above. obviously I am removing some early growing power. On the flip side, why invest energy in growing leaves that will be removed later? I’ve only grown once, decades ago inside with dirt and fluorescents. I may be...

T5’s are 3” away

Wow! They survived and look bigger already. I think the light green highlights on the edges of the leaves are because the lights are too close. Low power lights for now, switching to LED/COB soon. Don’t want to shock them more than I already have.
