All this talk of vegging for a month for a SOG confuses me. My understanding of a SOG technique would almost require the use of a mother plant and taking clones. By using a mature mother you would be able to flip the switch on your clones based upon size, not their age.

How about your T5's for the clones. There is not nearly as much heat.

I'm not an experienced grower, but I did stay at a holiday INN Express last night. I have read you could try lining a film canister, or a match box, or another small container with some sand paper. Then shake up your seeds in the container. This will "scuff" the seeds and may assist in germination.
