Sorry for the delay in response, I know it's probably irrelevant to you now, but no I didn't land on a sure answer. I had a lot of variables going on at the time. I have a new, similar problem goin on that I posted about yesterday. The troubles never end haha.

Leaves turn yellow, browns spots, get crunchy and fall.

Okay nice to know that. Fortunately I haven't had them break off while green, only fairly crispy. I think I will do a flush with a very, very light feed when it is time to water, and assume I have excess calcium.

Leaves turn yellow, browns spots, get crunchy and fall.

Wouldn't I see some critters in the soil if I had root aphids? Also, how would I check what my roots look like? I always just see how much the roots have filled the pots at the end of my grows after harvest, haha. I have calibrated the pen a couple times. Sometimes when I am paranoid I even...

Leaves turn yellow, browns spots, get crunchy and fall.

I have tested run-off recently, out of curiosity. On this plant it was about 5.8, which yes, is acidic. I have done a lot of reading of the efficacy of testing runoff and both sides make good arguments, but I'm not sure. My gut tells me that runoff will always come out a bit more acidic than the...

Leaves turn yellow, browns spots, get crunchy and fall.

I looked into that, I agree, it is definitely a possibility. I added one 1 tablespoon per gallon of soil. In my reading, I often came across people trashing the use of oyster shell in FF mixes, saying it didn't buffer efficiently, and that's why some people like to add the lime. Thanks for the...

Leaves turn yellow, browns spots, get crunchy and fall.

I just looked into excess calcium. That seems quite possible. As far as the stems, once the leaves are pretty consumed, they just break from the stalk easily. Feed ppm usually comes out to around 700 - 800 I believe. Honestly, I haven't watched that so much ever since I started using RO water. I...

Leaves turn yellow, browns spots, get crunchy and fall.

So I have this recurring problem in my grows and it drives me nuts. I am starting to doubt my growing skills >:( I have scoured the forums and I don't find many posts with problems exactly like mine. I research and research, look at of the deficiency charts, etc, and can't figure out the issue...

My plants are looking pale, it's a mystery

I see your logic here. I contemplated that possibility. I did see this video though that address this topic. Thoughts?

My plants are looking pale, it's a mystery

Yeah I don't see any burning. I have since flushed, and watered with a 500 ppm solution (including the ferts). I did 3.0ml/gal because like you, I thought they looked hungry if anything. I let them get pretty dry before watering. Not droopy leaf dry, but thirsty.

My plants are looking pale, it's a mystery

No, though it does look like that. I've foliar fed a couple times, after noticing the problem to see if I could correct it, but I did that at the beginning of the dark cycle.

My plants are looking pale, it's a mystery

Thanks for the input. I have gave it a try, as of yesterday when it was time to water. not sure how long before I might see a slowing or improvement of my issues. May I ask why you recommend 6.5 ph? I've always been under the impression soilless substrates like peat and coco tended to do better...

My plants are looking pale, it's a mystery

I've been researching for about 10 days now. Not having any luck, so I am finally reaching out. I was initially having issues with brown speckled leaves at about week 3 of my autoflower grow. Now I am into Week 4-5 and it has progressed to plants becoming pale, lower leaves yellowing and...
