Haha, what do they know anyway, lol. I have one plant left to cut in just few more days and I never flushed that one either. Had four others that I did. Gonna have some blind taste tests after it cures with my buddies and see how it works out. Will post on it when they smoke some of it.

I see trichomes too. Get yourself small microscope on Amazon or elsewhere, snip off leaf and have good look at thichomes. I purchased a Carson microscope and it works great.

Looks like rot to me. I just had a plant like it and every where I saw wilting leaves i would look on the inside of the bud where it rests against the stalk and would find the mould. When I harvested I looked at every bud and discarded anything that had mould and anything close to it.

I would use glass bottle too. Some type mason jar with sealing lid. I would never use plastic although I’m no expert.
