I guess my tone came off wrong. I'm not dismissing anyone and fully understand the concerns, but I've made my decision with this one and it's just a fun little learning project for me to see what pops out. Cheers all for the input.

No not at all. Makeshift tent, and it's a 300W (100W) LED panel. Whatever I get is whatever I get as far as I'm concerned. For me, this is more of a project and learning experience as I've said. I won't be distraught if I lose it, it was all good fun along the way.

I'm assuming sarcasm but thanks anyway! I'll keep you posted on its inevitable demise then :lol:

Thanks for all your concerns about the size but I'm sticking to my guns on this one. I'll go bigger next but I've been inspired by all the 2L bottle / 1L pot grows. Half z appears to be to sky for grows like this and that's fine with me. This is more of a fun project than something to yield huge...

I suppose I can leave it until it looks like it really needs a decent watering and then just go for close to runoff? I'm just struggling to gauge how much water is enough - the 100ml seemed to moisten the topsoil but that was about it.

Reason I've gone with the 2L is that I've seen lots of 1L - 2L mini grows with autos that have turned out fine, obviously stunted but I'm forcing that issue because of space.

SO I've scoured the web for watering guides on these micro grows. Consensus is watering is water until runoff when the soil is dry 3 inches deep. I'm sticking in this 2L pot start to finish and accepting that it will be small. It sprouted 6 days ago and is looking healthy with one set of decent...
