I’m on the road again, no plant pics, no good stories, unless you want to hear about supply shortages of semiconductors. I can’t wait to get home and high, retirement can’t come too fast. My friends are texting to see when I can get them more of the Puck, apparently it’s a bigger hit than I...

So my plants just won’t grow very big like I’ve seen

Wait a minute. You grew a plant all summer and it never really grew? You said it didn’t grow all summer, did you nourish and encourage it to grow? What is the time frame of “all summer” to start? seems a long time to get nowhere, have you tried playing music and talking about sunshine, water...

That looks great, congrats on a nice harvest! I’d just let it dry nice and slow on its original schedule, it will turn out great!

You can dry quicker if you want, since it’s not loaded you’re not going to collect as much water, that’s not something to worry about. You can skip a few percent points, or just keep on and everything will be fine, a slow dry is not a bad thing, it’s why I built mine in the first place.

Once you move the bud into bags or jars there’s no reason to keep the dehumidifier on. I use an older compressor based cooler for seed and bag storage without issues.

    SIP’n with Hook Daddy

The golden tiger is still kicking, here she is at week 15 of flower. I think she has at least 3 weeks to go if not more, but the hairs are starting to orange up, and she’s building frost fast. She’s got a fruity spicy smell that is very nice, and is starting to get sticky, so I’m hopeful I can...

I don’t know about tempura-frying, but if you manage to find real Thai stick I’ll help you smoke it and give you a tempura-fried Oz of anything in my stash.

Maybe a better idea would be to put some tincture in with the egg wash, then use Panko. You get a good crunch with a weed kick, best of both.

Yep. This weekend we dug out the sweatshirts and long comfy pants along with the thick couch blankets, and I swept the chimney and lit a fire the first time this year just to knock the chill down.

I guess I should feel lucky, it’s in the 40s going to low 50s, rainy and gloomy. We had some strong winds last night reaching 40mph, but they have calmed down for now.

    Your peppers please!

I picked what looked ready before the low temps set in, the super hots are still cranking out peppers as fast as I pick them, it’s crazy how the long dry spell we had here changed the growing season completely.

18/6 light cycle, plants started flowering. How to reverse and keep in veg??

I’ve never heard of nutes triggering flower, they sound like autos. Sometimes extreme root binding can force flower. If you didn’t change the light cycle at all they are autos or something other than nutes is going on. Are you sure they aren’t just showing sex and are actually flowering...

No, if you don’t already have mold, it will not start now that you are dropping the rh and the temps are cooler. There is a lot of info in the thread about this already. Mold starts from the moisture inside the buds, not the air. The cooler is a small space so the air moisture goes up quickly...

No. You should then reduce rh by .5% per day. If you put the buds in and wait and it rises to 80%, then start at a few points under that and work down, say 77%.

It sounds like it’s working fine. There is humidity in the cooler, even when not loaded up. It doesn’t work in seconds or minutes, but hours and days. Every time you open the door humidity is going to rush in, or dry air depending on where you live, and the cooler will react.
