I suppose it's possible. I'm no expert. Broad mites don't fly and are so small they might never leave the one plant until they are touching as they get bigger. I'm forging ahead either way. Neem oil should be safe enough in veg and supposedly in flower though I don't plan to use it in flower.

Update time. After adjusting some things I think I've cleared up any nutrient or ph problems. But I'm convinced the real issue was indeed a mite infestation. Haven't been able to find the little fuckers even with magnification, but neem oil seems to have at least mitigated it somewhat. The...

So I transplanted today. On the one plant I didn't knock off the soil, but it looked healthy enough. No sign of root rot. On all of them the roots were at the bottom of the pot but by no means root bound. Here's hoping. Gonna get crowded soon.

Hopefully it was the dry fert and new soil will help. Watered tonight and the runoff was below 6 even when I used...

Interesrting... <says Spock> in the past my soul tended to be high ph and I had to drop the water low, but the runoff ph was still high. I'll try raising it a bit. But I do plan to transplant soon.

    Diagnose leaf twisting

So first, thanks to everyone for your suggestions. I probably should have posted this in the plant problems section. I've done this several times now, the last 3 with my current setup. The one thing i changed this time was to use a dry fertilizer from fox farms instead of the general hydro...

I drain the overflow into a container and measure ph. This gives me a better idea than just measuring the water going in. Then it goes down the drain.

So I raised the lights snd gave them a little flush then gave cal-mag. Question is, if they get better will the leaves recover or should I be watching the new growth?
