So… first time I’ve seen cheese mites infesting cannabis (and a couple google searches isn’t proving much information… probably user error)…. How bad are they (especially at the infestation level in the pic) for the plant? Treatment/prevention/predation options?

“Soon” maybe. They can grow and open in days, pretty fast. And you gotta guess where you are currently (day 2 or 5?…) I’d just pinch off the balls and check daily until you can get it outa there, not my ideal choice since you’ll be molesting stuff you don’t want to, but an option.
