In New Zealand in the 1970's the terminology was a bit different. In the North Island, late 70's I'm not sure how much an ounce would cost we would score a "deal" which was a three finger wide, finger depth bag (about 8th oz I think) for $30. I guess an ounce would be around $100 - $130 then...
