I'm wondering if air exchange is important for a dry, or if it is only used as a tool for stabilizing RH and temps. In other words, if the humidity is on the lower side, can one just turn off the exhaust to keep the humidity up? Will this impact aroma/taste if air is not being exchanged...

Yes, I was referring mainly to yellowing and dying leaves. Also colas starting to bend from the weight. Not every grower will run into this, especially if they’re more experienced. I can hopefully avoid some of these things and have my next plant carry on an even longer and healthier life than...

These are exactly my thoughts currently. I have my dehumidifier on, I just harvested today. The humidity without it is up to 75%. Did you end up using a dehumidifier?

At that point I will have like 0 leaves for trim. They only yellowed recently. I think I’m leaning towards yes since they are sugar leaves.

I have quite a few large bud leaves that have yellowed from senescence. Should I wet trim, or dry trim and turn them into hash? Not sure if I should avoid this for yellowed leaves. There are trichomes. What would you do?

Hello members! This is my first grow in a grow tent, and it’s been a blast! One of two plants has been showing yellow leaves since week 6 of flower. They are currently approaching week 8 of flower. Overall I believe the plants are moderately healthy, and I’m thinking this is natural senescence...

Thanks to all the responses. I do understand now that the PPM overall has been a bit too high this grow. Have done lots of flushing and learned lots for next grow. Just a tad overfed, still really excited for the final yield. Expecting it about 2-3 weeks away from harvest. Thank you everyone!!

I’m considering dropping my Epsom salt levels/cutting it out because I have a bit of burnt tips on my leaves. I’m not sure if this will help remedy the problem, but it sounds like an easy way to drop my PPM especially considering nutrient lockout. Hopefully I can add less of everything by...

I am following the chart that general hydroponics provides. They don’t recommend using the same ratios of nutrients throughout. It sounds like Epsom doesn’t shine best at any particular growth phase. Thanks for the feedback!

I think some manual height adjustable bungee cords and string should do the trick ;) But I guess, it’s not that hard to take the light out, just trying to cut down on labor where I can. :-)

True, but does that get removed before the dry? I was thinking I would keep it intact to make for a dry as slow as possible. If space is limited, I will remove it. I suppose these are assessments I will make along the way.
