Oh I definitely agree you have to store them right for seeds to germ correctly. Always store them in air tight containers then place them in another container that is filled with rice they will last forever. I've germed seeds that are 15 or so years older easily. Sometimes in soil or sometimes...

Yeah even 10 or 20 year old seeds still easily germ if done right. Most people never do what should be done. Always place old seeds directly into clean mixed soil that's already wet. They will germ every time.

Seems like most people misuse beans and can have bad germ rates. How are you getting them?
