Weathers turning bad. Should I harvest

Good luck. I'd pull them - 'cause I'd be worrying over them during all that wet weather. Did you pull them or what? How'd it go?

    Harvest ready??

That Friesland indica has an interesting story, from Dutch Passion Seeds: This legendary strain goes back to the early days of the SSSC in the 1980's and in some parts of the world growers kept clones due to her unusual and rare characteristics. The Friesland genetics are naturally highly...

Thanks. I got a dehumidifier and I got the plant in before the rain, so fingers crossed.

    Harvest ready??

I started this one up June 27 is when it sprouted. so now it's about 95 days from sprout. The folks at seedsman say 10-12 weeks, and I'm on the outer limits of that rn. Also it's supposed to rain in Boston area tomorrow (Thursday) so I think I will put her in a dark shed for a couple of days...

    Harvest ready??

I hate bud rot. I use hydrogen peroxide diluteion - i think it's called zerodol HC but I could be very wrong on that. We had a glorious 3 weeks in Boston and I have the best plant I've ever grown - autoflower Jack Herer (from seedsman). She may not be so great in the dutch hall of fame, but...

Outdoor Auto seed suggestions for 2025?

I'm just finishing up my Boston area outdoor grow this year, and thinking about 2025. I'd like to continue growing outdoor autoflowers, but have gotten really variable results and pretty low yields (2 oz / plant). I know there are probably lots of reasons for this, but right now I'm thinking...

An interesting observation (to me anyway)

I'm just harvesting a couple of stunted growth autoflowers - getting maybe 1/2 oz per plant. Any theories about why they may have been stunted? These are Critical + Auto seeds from Seedsman. But I also had a stunted Jack Herer auto from Seedsman.

    Transplanting autoflowers

I like your theory, in principle, but in my limited experience, the plants that thrive before transplant continue thriving after transplant and those that don't do so well as seedlings continue to languish. So container type doesn't have much to do w/ it. But that's just my experience. I...

    adam flowers market place bust

The size of the bust was so small - this was a small business. I miss him (Adam Flowers) and hope they didn't have to go to prison for too long. Amazing to me it's so long ago. They used to send along weed (usually powerplant or powergirl) in a compressed vacuum sealed pouch. It looked like...

Huge variety in my seedsman autoflowers - is this always true?

This is my second year trying autoflowers. I grow outdoors and was away in May / June, so couldn't do my regular photo-period (which are indoors for me during those early months and require some special care). I have grown 3 Jack Herer autos and 3 Critical + autos from Seedsman. Each plant...

    Ready to cut?

I've used Dr Zymes for a couple of years during flower and that seems to work pretty good. The Amazing Dr Zymes Eliminator. as @VaSmile noted, its active ingredient is citric acid I think....

    FIM 4 day follow up

I'm going to resurrect this old thread with a fim / trim question. I fimmed and like @A.k.a I got three mains, as below My question is what should I do w/ the stuff that was the fourth node but I missed on the FIM. (FIMed on the FIM?). I've circled it in red above. anyway should I trim it...

    Outdoor tobbaco.

Looks good. I grew up near Hadley, Ma, in the connecticut river valley, and they still grow wrapper tobacco for cigars. I worked one summer in the tobacco fields. It is a tricky plant but I don't know much about it, just remember that it tended to fall over in wet weather, and also when it was...

    New pest of the year.

I've seen this before on some of my plants, and i've also seen leaf hoppers so I'd agree with @thumper60 . Do you recommend spraying w/neem oil before any insect activity??

What do you do w/ plants that are developmentally delayed?

I have a Jack herer autoflower that is not growing very fast at all. The plant has some serious genetic issues. I'm growing outside and have moved all but that little JH out. Is it worth trying to make her comfortable in the hopes that she will grow? Or should I just write her off and move on?

Actually, and with respect, the basic Faqs do not address the fact that you have to be on the site a while to get the permission to "like". So it was not clear to me. Here's what it says: Reactions. The like button has gotten an upgrade you can hover over with your cursor to react or hold down...

Royal Queen Seeds. F1 strains worth it?

I notice in my seeds I get very different characteristics in the plants. Like right now I have two jack herer autoflowers and one is robust and the other is seriously retarded. So from my perspective if the seeds all yield plants that are the same, which is what RQS is touting, that is a...

I have a really simple question ... and apologies for this ... but how do you "like" a post on this forum? I'm sure there is some obvious thing I should be doing. Can you help?
