I find this also happens to me but only when I use carboblast in flower mostly what is pythoff. I was using a product called tarantula from advanced nutrients seemed to be foggy still but no slime on resivior. I do drain to waste in coco coir water every hr with a bit of run off most times

I do clean airstone with h202 and bleach at least ounce a week are airstones necessary if they have these microbes building up in them
