How much and how often do you water plants at ever stage of the growing? At the flowering stage the plants are in 3-5 gallon pots. THanks!

Why does the ballast have to be away from the plants? Don't we need a heater to keep the temp warm when the lights are out? Its cold and it goes down into the low 60's if not. We can add more light... what do you recommend? A 400 watt?
