What is the average flowering time for white widow? About 9 weeks from day 1 of 12/12 light?

This is my first grow ever and I decided to try white widow. I have 3 plants in flower and it to me it just seems like that buds seem a little small. I would really appreciate any input on what you all think. This is day 24 of flowering 12/12 under a 400W HPS light, does this plant seem to be on...

This is my first grow and I'm 22 days into the 12/12 flowering stage. I've read how some people cut off all large fan leaves. Is this something that's good to increase the bud size or does it not make a difference?
