Thanks for the advice guys, I figured that it might just be slight nute burn because the new soil I put them in has some time release fertilizer in it too. Should I flush them out or would this release a bunch of the fertilizers already in the soil...any ideas.

So, my plants are a little over a month old now and they seem to be growing just fine. I have topped them in order to keep them short and they have recently been repotted. My problems began when my first set of leaves started to turn yellow. I assumed that they weren't getting enough nitrogen...

I've only done it like four times but never had a problem, it also gives you something to do on the plane...if you get bored you can just eat the mix really slowly, just rummage through it and throw the seeds you find in your pocket.

lots of people use that shit when they water their plants, I myself have never used it so I can't comment on how it works. I'm pretty sure it is just used to help oxygenate the soil therefore providing more oxygen to the roots...not 100% sure, it might have other beneficial aspects.

Throw them in a bag of trail mix and then just look for them when you are eating it. Thats what I do and you can just carry it on the plane, the search is kinda tedious but they will never find them and you can just dump out the mix on a cookie sheet when you get home and find them pretty...
