I was wondering how much soil i should buy if i'm growing 1 maybe 2 plants in a little apartment grow?

So I'm gonna start growing for the first time soon, my one question what kind should I grow if its my first time? I've been looking at a few, lowryder, white widow, and northern lights especially this one...

Here's another question, is lowryder even worth growing? I've heard mixed reviews of it I'm hoping somebody who actually grew it/smoked it can help me here.

Yeah I was planning on starting out with two plants just to play it safe, one concern i have is the smell. Now I know I won't have to worry about that for a while, but when it does come to flowering etc. should I be worried? Also I've heard to sides of the story of what lights to buy, I'm trying...

I'm starting to look into just growing one plant in my apartment for personal use. I've looked around for a place that tells you how to do just one plant but I can't seem to find one. If somebody could point me in the right direction or give me some tips that would be awesome.
