    Lining / Wrapping Grow Room?

Another option is panda film, black on the outside, white on the inside. You'll want a flat white for the inside walls no matter the material for good light reflection. If your careful on the film install and use some good tape, like TUCT tape, the red stuff, (not duct tape), you can...

    Need a SCROG PRO please

Ok, ok, ok......so I royally f'ked up my babies by feeding them nutes with 7.8-7.9 ph in Pro-mix. Partly my PH Pen's fault for not working properly and partly my fault for not calibrating the pen and finding this out earlier!:dunce::dunce: Anyway after a miserable two weeks including a full 5...

Help Please: New leaf growth suddenly went skinny, tiny???

Hi RIU! As part of the grow schedule I just fed my girls 3 days ago, (Nova Grow - Veg). PH of nute solution was 5.8. Soiless grow, using Pro-Mix. 600 W HPS. 18-6 Lighting. All of a sudden it seems that all the new tip growth (upper near the light and lower sites) have changed to look...

    Stealthy Armoire Grow(possible ScrOG)

I guess the consideration is in how big each of the species you mention actually grow. Mixing a short indica with a long sativa in the same scrog could be challenging (not impossible, jes challenging), cause the indica should fill in the screen a fair bit before flipping, whereas the salvia...

How much vetilation do I need?: 12.5'x6'x9'

Hey col, Look on line and there are carbon scrubber calculations that will help you properly size a scrubber based on your fan(s) and your room size. As to fan, IMHO, big is never enough lol! Make sure you get an in line fan, make sure its a brushed motor fan (can-fan/vortex) that way you...

Hey fureelz, The bud pic, your saying that was gorwn with jes ph'd water? Wow! I do have fans, 6" in line at 425 cfm on a rheostat. I cranked them up and dropped down the humidity, currently the humiduty is at 52% and still dropping. I am embarrassed to admit that I mixed up my facts and...

What seems to be going wrong? +rep

Hey Green Cross - The humidity has dipped every now and than to 60%, but for the average I would say the cab runs at 65-66%. Also plant shock is something that I am worried about too, I want then to be happy! I guess I'll continue to keep a close eye on them with this last round of nutes I...

What seems to be going wrong? +rep

Hey guys thanks for helping me with this! Here are some photos outside the SCROG so you can really see the leaf colours (I shoulda thought of that!): Don't the veins look almost engraved? One of the yellowing bottom leaves I mentioned earlier. I don't think that I am worrying...

What seems to be going wrong? +rep

Hi Folks, I have the following issues with my girls: a) The leaves droop every day, usually near the end of the 18 hr light cycle. b) The leves are very, very pale green, almost a lime green as opposed to a nice dark green. The mother was an outdoor grown Brainstorm, which had very dark...

Do duct (inline) fans require any soldering?

By flower time you will need to control the aroma. I have the luck of venting through an old chimney that was sealed up, I reopened it, recapped it and vent the grow chamber to the outdoors. If you can't vent outside than a scrubber would be ideal. I would recommend to research the scrubbers...

    Cooling my grow room

The 4" fan is prob not going to cut it with the length of duct run. Whats the CFM of the fan? How many elbows do you have, are you using accoridian type duct? Are you pushing or pulling the air? Elbows and accoridian duct will drop your fans cfms faster than a fat kid dropping a carrot. So...

    Basic Lighting Question

I SCROG and use the 50 watts per square foot minimum rule of thumb to yield nice buds, any less and the buds are just not dense, kinda on the light side.

    question bout cool tubes

Hey IMHO 6" to 10" might be cutting it too close. I've been experimenting and have my 600W (in a cool tube @ dedicated 425 cfm vortex) inching closer and closer to the plants. I started at 18" and right now I am approx 14" away and temps are hitting 27 to 29 C, no ill affects to report as of...

Do duct (inline) fans require any soldering?

I bought one of these @ 80 cfm as a little booster in my clone cab. Not overly impressed to be honest. Not a lot of force with these fans, the motor on a desk fan is more robust and the tin shield echos and hums. To answer you question you need to solder or marrett the fan leads, white...

    Lighting Question

Rule of thumb is to aim 50 watts per sq ft. for decent bud. You have 8 sq ft x 50w = 400 watts. Get a cool tube, duct and an in line fan to cool light. I have a 600 W in a 3.5 x 3.5 foot space and the cool tube, works awesome and heat is not an issue. Hope this helps Kayuman

    PC Wiring Help...Plz

I guess another question is what will this fan be used for ? Equipment cooling or venting a grow box or a light?? If it's the for venting I would (imho) seriously reconsider and look into a real fan solution. If its for venting get a real fan, brushed type (ie vortex) and and a fan rheostat...

    grow closet need ventilation ideas

Best solution is to vent the light, it will remove a huge amount of heat build up. To avoid wrecking the place can u cut intake/exhuast vents through the door, that way u only have to replace a $40 door later in life should u need to. Look into cool tubes, i think you can work around your...
