now, i may sound way off base here, but it looks to me as if your lower leaves aren't getting as much light as your canopy. try trimming or hanging some floros vertically to light up the lower areas better.

so far, lurking has answered a lot of questions, and FAQ's helped with some q's I hadn't gotten around to answering. And given the idea that most growers differ in preference as far as the answer to my question is concerned, but i'll ask anyway because i have no idea. ::What is a ballpark...
