I'm not convinced that's right. These will be 240v bulbs for the European market. If you were going to use them in the US you would need a step-up transformer and an E40 socket to plug them in to. I think they are all imported from China anyway, and I believe they will also do 110v versions, but...

Yes, I've been doing that. I also noticed that they weren't dissolving very easily, so I ground the last one with a mortar and pestle before dissolving it in the water that I was going to add. I'm also suspicious that my tap water has a lot of chlorine in it, so I've just boiled a gallon ready...

The tabs that I have been using came with a used Aerogarden that I bought off eBay. They look as if they have been absorbing water, and may have leached nitrates. Either that, or my pH is out, and it is causing lockout. I've tested the pH with wide range test strips, and it looks about right...

I read that someone tested the Aerogarden tabs as having EC of 1.5 and pH of 6.5. That suggests that I need to check the pH and adjust it down.

Thanks for your replies everyone. The seeds came from a bank which sells individual seeds, so I suppose it's really dependent on their careful handling and re-packaging. I'll get some pics and post them.

4 weeks in, and one of the plants I am growing from supposedly feminised seeds (Automatic White Moscow) seems to be male. Has anyone else had this experience? Is it likely to be male or hermaphrodite, and should I kill it now or see how it goes? The other 2 plants haven't started to pre-flower...

Has anyone had success in growing more than 3 plants at a time? I've got a Deluxe, so I guess I could go to 7 theoretically, but that the roots would get choked up before I get to that point. I'll usually be growing feminised autoflowering varieties.
