I don't know that I'd even say yellow... I definitely noticed the change from clear to cloudy, but not into yellow territory yet. All trichomes are currently a milky white colour with the odd "head" a rusty brown (but this is very sporadic).

I have other plants in the room with the plant in question - wouldn't reducing the amount of light be detremental to them?

Hi Folks I'm on day 105 of 12/12 for a sativa dominant strain, and I'm confused as there is still not a single amber trichome to be found. I have LOTS of big fat buds, covered in trichs, but they have not changed yet. The seed pack suggested flowering would be finished between 75 and 95 days...

I thought I'd resurrect this thread... this has happened to my Kali Mist (sativa dom) as well. Nearly all fan leaves have fallen off and only the smaller bud leaves are left. I'm now into day 103 of flowering, and all my trichs are still milky - not even a hint of amber. The seed pack suggested...

^^ what these guys said... after experimenting with many options (and wasting tons of $) I got a carbon filter...much better effect!

I'm doing the same thing... Took my clones at 4.5 weeks, and reveged for 5 weeks...got great roots on them and the flowers that were on the clones also went red... got the weird straight edge leaves, and now it's getting all busy and branchy too. I tried this because of a thread I read a short...

Low = 40%; high=60% I use a moisture meter and cycle between every 2 to every 3 days to water depending on the meter. The "claw" leaves actually feel perfectly normal, just the shape seems off. Moisture in the leaf seems okay. Thank you for the excellent info/advice.

Excellent advice and explanation - thank you very much! My manure was fully composted, and I even allowed my soil mix to settle for two weeks prior to germination....but I hear you on the other risks associated with this additive.

I don't plan on keeping the potential male... I'm going to set him on fire. :fire: RE: Humidity domes... the humidity it would create wouldn't be good for the plant.... and they probably aren't made large enough anyway (my plants are in 5 gal pots and are 21" tall from the top of the pot...

Try something like "Bio Mist": http://www.greenearth.ca/products/product_e.php?category=97 Mix it up and soak the soil. Don't get it on the leaves or it will burn them to shit. This took care of my gnats instantly.

I know... but I'm not completely sure yet..the preflowrs on the potential male are very small, so I'm not completely convinced (like 40% right now). So I guess I just need to know is it a problem having him in the grow room during veg with a confirmed lady? Thanks

Hi Everyone. I'm on my first grow and my plants have been in veg for 50 days. I have started to get preflowers and I think I have a male... but I am not completely sure yet. At what stage in their development does pollen form? While the plants are vegging is any pollen able to get airborn? Thanks
