Coco,but it stays wet too long.I have read where people use 70 coco 30 perlite.That probably works fine,although personally I would like to be able to reuse the hydroton.

Has anyone tried this combo? If so,is a 50/50 mix good?

I have been looking for a thread about mixing hydroton with the coco coir. Alot of people have stated they use a 70/30 mix(70 coco). Anyone with info would be a great help

Turning the lights off for four hours will work fine,they will grow 20% slower than on 24.

Correct.Leave the fan and exaust on 24/7 this will help prevent mold and help with co2
