The airstone is wrapped in a natural sponge and it works well. Here are a couple pics at 4 weeks 7 gallon bucket, her roots are pokin out the bottom. Internode every 1/2 inch... She is doing well

The PPM on the foxfarm nutes is super high... I would try something else with less filler

It sounds like you may have handled a male and then knocked up one of your ladies. Keeping the flowering room sterile is key.
