I went to home depot and bout two fixtures that held two 40W bulbs that ran about 15 buck a piece. Just a regular cfl will do but their are gro lights you can purchase but a regular floro has a pretty good light spectrum. How many plants do you have and what is size is the area your growing in?

Right now I built my own reflector out of cardboard and foil. I have a 400W metal halide and it is just dangeling and I know I am losing a lot of lighting going directly to my plants. Does anyone know how to build a reflector that can support the light and bring it in a horizantal direction?

I had low humidity levels, below 30%, whiched caused some stress on the plants and they weren't growing too fast. I added a cool mist humidifier, from home depot cost a little over 50 bucks, but my plants have been shooting up ever since. Humidity levels are around 55% with temps averaging 80.
