i have a 1k digital lumatek ballast that should fire mh/hps bulbs.currently i use agrosun gold halide and hortilux hps and can't get either one to fire on a consistant basis.can anyone recomend 2 bulbs that will fire.thanks for any input

it's a 1k digital lumatek tried 3 bulbs all had the same problem. took ballast socket and bulbs to his store and they all fired right away.tried 2 differant timers and pluging straight into wall,same problem.need to put on timer since i"m not home everyday.also changed wall socket still...

I'm new to this but what I think is a nitrogen def.I have a plant that looks similar started to brown at tips of leaves and started to spread like that.
