Yah enzymes will kill you if you have slime. It converts all the dead shit to food and feeds the slime. Do beneficial bacteria and you won't be sorry. I wish someone would have told me this 2 months ago.

yah thats what I thought too, the reservoir is a lot more stable and easier to balance as well with more water... the system is a little bit easier to clean as well as you can leave most everything assembled while you clean it. Time will tell how well it produces, but it seems very touchy about...

hmm ok, thanks for the info. The reason I ask is because I am having some issues in my RDWC that I am trying to iron out. RDWC is apparently a lot more touchy than DWC. I almost want to revert back to aero, but I have a bit of money invested with the new system so I am going to try and get it...

Also, I have my tubs covered with pandafilm to prevent light getting into the reservoir. This was an addition on about day 5 of putting these into the CCH2O system.

Hey just wondering how full you fill your dwc buckets? Do fill them all the way or leave an inch or two below the stem/roots?
