Spectrum has more of an effect then you might think. Although an MH more then double the luminosity of the HPS may keep up. If you want to stay at that low a wattage I would suggest just sinking the money into a 150w HPS. They are not very pricey.

Great thread doc! The importantce of water can be paramount. I know too many people who will sink hundreds of dollars into snake oils but overlook the simple investment of an R/O Filter. Keep up the good work.
