so do the tops you've pinched end up dying and falling off on their own, or do i pick them off, also, can i do this process in flowering stage at all? or only in veg

my plants are almost ready to harvest. the tops and colas are nice and full but the bottom and lower bud sites are really scrawny and airy. can i top them so the lower sites get more light and hopfully get denser? how long should i leave them after toping ?i was told to only leave them for a day...

into the 5th week flower everything seems realy healthy but have these red,i mean bright red hairs,starting at the bud and working out is this common? or am i over feeding?currently doing feed feed water and once a week water with sensizyme in hydro beds 4 super nova sheilds with 1000w hps good...

plants are very healthy 3rd week flower but very crowded what can i do about lower bud sites ? is there enough light penetration w/ the 4 1000w hps?:confused: will get pics soon
