Why would you turn it upside down? It's designed that way for a reason - Heat rises. You want your intake at the bottom and your exhaust at the top. Otherwise it's going to be much harder to control the temp, and anything over 75-80 degrees F is too hot. Get a carbon filter and put it at the top...
