i just tried to cut them off the plant and mist them, i had 1/4 fox farm nuts and just misted them,, they stayed alive but i never seen any roots, so i gave up

it was a typo, my bad. but yea im still haveing the problem, wondering if its the nutrients? nothing seems to keep it down for over an hour or so. and i have changed my water and used less nutrients every time.
still nothing

on another note: i use fox farm nutes, and the BIG BLOOM seems to make a " semi solid" so i stopped using it, do i really need it? and is there a way to not make it...

1- 10 gal rubbermaid tub
approx 7 gallons of water
fox farm nutes
vinegar for ph down
baking soda for ph down

so i am new to growing. i am looking to start a dwc with about 2 plants. at first i was thinking a 4x4 are but im wondering if i can use less space? (need suggestions on this). i am thinking less space so i can get away with a smaller hps light.... manufacturer says a 2x2 u can use a 150 w light...
