    Led Users Unite!

Yeah, I figured they had a quite a jump in efficiency compared to my last research :D Probably better still just to stack the fixtures with medium power ones.

    Led Users Unite!

I was just checking out whats new and hot in the LED industry. Mainly I was going by umol/W efficiency numbers. Stumbled upon these: https://www.led-professional.com/all/ensuring-optimal-performance-for-horticulture-lighting?utm The OSLON® Optimal Red's 3.53µmol/J seems pretty nice at first...

LED's and cal/mag def = ONLY extra cal/mag needed or just up ppms due to more par levels?

Yeah, exactly like that. I'd just add that it is the calcium intake especially that increases with increase of transpiration. And LED's usually decrease the temps, often changing the VPD while at it. So just make sure you have high enough temps for good growth and your VPD is still within...

Clones in high temp, high humidity

With more heat you want some more humidity. Bit upper range probably with the 33c, but enough humidity and not too much light and the roots might appear pretty fast. Below the VPD table, propagation/cloning color

    Scrog grow

Did you have the EC meter? If the EC drops and your pH rises like that you should be giving more nutes. Like you said you would've started flowering already if the plant was healthy. I agree, I mean its pretty big and bushy. I'd thin out some growth keeping all the bigger branches. Lower the...

    Scrog grow

How is your EC pH? At what levels and how they are moving The left side seems to be more effected? Is it under different light? They seem to be getting bit too much light, atleast under the conditions they are in. Any idea how much light are you giving? Looks a bit dry too. Humidities and...

What's the Best Currently Available Strip for a Self build?

https://www.led-tech.de/en/50cm-Alustripe-with-98x-Samsung-LM301H-EVO-MINT-LEDs-and-connectors There is a good table on the efficiency of these things when more current is applied. I have ordered several times from there and no complaints. Pretty decent prices...

    Issues with new clones

I'd suggest getting Photone app for your phone to get some light measurements. Using a paper filter and depending on phone it gives pretty accurate results. Also if there's no lower setting and it's still too much, raising the light is pretty effective. Double the height and get only 1/4 of the...

Too much light, too little humidity.

    Parallel 2x400w hps system

Just put your timer before extension cord and connect the 2 ballasts to the extension cord, like Wastei suggested. This is "parallel setup" and there is really no advantage wiring it any other way. What are you hoping to achieve with your idea? You still need digital ballast for each of the...

Calcium deficiency in high pressure aeroponics

Different seeds can always have quite a bit variance since they have different genetics. Depends on how stabilized the genetics are, but always some differences. The more affected plant look like it's taller? Maybe some light excess? Not sure how much you were giving light during 2-6weeks, but...

    Examples of GOP Leadership

Yeah, I think there's plenty demand here in the EU for Canadian oil/LNG to replace the old sources. Same with military deals, now there is alot more incentive to buy from European manufacturers (for us European). Mr Art of Deal managed to fk up all but sure deals for US oil,gas and weapon...

Calcium deficiency in high pressure aeroponics

I don't really have good suggestions for how to adjust the aerosystems. The 10% runoff is usually good for flushing the little that has accumulated and resetting nutrients for the rest of the medium. So you have a bit of a margin to have too little or bit too much nutrients. The petioles...

Calcium deficiency in high pressure aeroponics

Few things comes to mind as for the feeding. You had like 90liters res? When you go very low on res or after topping the res few times, your nutrient ratios might not be anywhere near you put them in as. Depending on the feed given there might be some nutrients accumulating and some running low...

Calcium deficiency in high pressure aeroponics

As for the nightly water consumption, it's obviously gonna be lower than day because of the extra temps and transpiration. While some of the nutes move better with water, other have more of a active uptake. It's easier to compare EC/pH levels at same times, since they drift bit different...

Calcium deficiency in high pressure aeroponics

The yellowing in the leaf veins has me quite confused and can't really point a finger on the problem. The symptoms might be a bit over the place, if in lights on they are getting somewhat all the nutes they need. But if during night time they can't absorb the amounts they need. The nightly...

    Help identifying plant issues

Yes, looks definatly like calcium deficiency to me too. OP's had just worse/more prolonged deficiency than yours. @TheCreaMachine239 Dolomite lime is Ca+Mg. Epsom salt is Mg+S. Gypsum is Ca+S. So for specifically for calcium deficiency, gypsum would be often best. Doesn't really interfere...

Calcium deficiency in high pressure aeroponics

Hey, still lurking around. As mentioned before I don't have experience on the high pressure systems, only in DWC/NFT as for water cultures. So I'll help where I can. At 5th week of flower she has demanded some extra P and rest of the way she likes more of a K heavy feed. She is bit on the...

Calcium deficiency in high pressure aeroponics

The calcium uptake is still parabolic, so you can't keep upping it and expect it to linearly follow. My main concern was that there was too much potassium that was antagonizing the calcium uptake. Why Calcium Deficiency Might Start in Lower Leaves Calcium Mobility and Redistribution: Calcium...

Calcium deficiency in high pressure aeroponics

Sodium makes up approximately 30.88% of the mass of sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl). I think my Calcium hypochlorite is less than 5% sodium. Was dirt cheap too, made for disinfecting well water.
